I genuinely cannot recommend this tour (and Mike) enough. Mike was so sweet, helpful, and professional from start to finish he made the entire day feel easy, fun, and stress-free.
Not only was he amazing with everyone on the tour (super attentive, organized, and always checking in), but what really stood out to me is that he’s just an overall kind human. He was helpful even to people who weren’t part of the tour, and you can tell he truly cares about others and loves what he does. That kind of genuine energy is rare.
ANDDD he’s also an amazing photographer!! to He helped everyone get the best pictures, knew exactly where to stand/what angles look best, and made sure we all had beautiful memories to take home.
Also… can we talk about the hot chocolate?! It was SO good literally the perfect cozy touch.

Arctic Mike was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure each of us had incredible photos at every stop — perfect lighting, thoughtful posing, and so much patience. You can tell he genuinely cares about capturing the moment for you.
The grand finale was unforgettable: hunting for the northern lights on our drive back to Reykjavik. Mike didn’t give up until we found them, and he let us enjoy them for as long as we wanted. His effort, expertise, and kindness made the entire experience extraordinary.
We learned so much from him, and he was truly a joy to be around.
Highly, highly recommend!

Mike was incredible. He had 8 guests on our tour and everyone one of us felt important. We saw many waterfalls, black coral beaches and puffins nesting. Mike’s insight was wonderful.
Mike’s Mercedes van is exactly as billed. It was great. We brought our own rain gear only to find out that it was insufficient. Mike had “Icewear” rain gear on board and we swapped out for that. It is so good I intend to buy it again line when I return home.
Mike does not provide shoes that will get submerged. Hiking boots are not necessary but having shoes that will be wet for the next several days is essential.
If/when we ever return to Iceland we will be contacting Mike again for his other tours. This was money well spent.
If you notice, I have written nothing negative. That is because there was nothing negative. This is in the top two of the guided trips I have taken around the world.

We had such a fun day trip with Mike! He was super knowledgeable about Iceland’s geological landscape as well as Iceland’s history and folklore.
We had a full day planned, but we weren’t on a tight schedule and were able to spend as much time as we wanted at each stop, allowing us to fully experience each landmark.
Lunch at the geothermal farm was a highlight of the day! It was such a unique dining experience, and the tomatoes were excellent!
Mike was also super accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed to have a great experience. This was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Arctic Mike took us on a magical journey to the South Coast of Iceland to beautiful waterfalls, black sand beaches and rocky cliffs. During our hikes, Mike kept us safe, warm and fed all while amusing us with interesting facts about the sights coupled with a great sense of humor. I highly recommend hiring him for an awesome unforgettable adventure.

Michal is an absolute legend and a beauty of a tour guide. He’s an incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating person. The tour itself is an incredible as well, with lots of great sites to visit. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to visit some of the best sites of Iceland, without the hassle of a large tour bus.

Michal is one of the nicest people I have met. Even before leaving for Iceland, he was helping me figure out logistics that could not be figured out from home. The experience itself was really wonderful. We saw some very beautiful things and places and it was all very comfortable in his truck. I would highly recommend this experience because Michal will make sure you have an amazing time!
