2. Tour Reservations and payments:

2.1. All tour reservations must be made through the “Arctic Mike’s” website or booking system, www.arcticmike.com.

2.2. All tours are subject to availability and weather conditions.

2.3. Prices for tours are subject to change without notice.

2.4. Payment for tours is due at the time of booking in local currency by secure payment method at www.arcticmike.com.

2.5. Customers must pay the total amount for the tour in advance. The payment can be made through the www.arcticmike.com website’s online payment system or via bank transfer. “Arctic Mike” reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the payment is not made in full within the specified timeframe of the booking process.

2.7. Any additional fees, such as admission fees or meals not included in the tour package, must be paid by the customer at the time of purchase.

“Arctic Mike” will clearly indicate any additional fees in the tour description at www.arcticmike.com.

2.8.All prices and fees are quoted in Icelandic Krona (ISK), unless otherwise specified. Customers who choose to pay via bank transfer must ensure that the correct amount in ISK is transferred, taking into account any currency conversion fees that may apply.

2.9. The www.arcticmike.com website’s online payment system is secure and complies with industry-standard security protocols. However, “Arctic Mike” cannot be held liable for any unauthorized access to the customer payment information that may occur during the payment process.

2.6. “Arctic Mike” reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

3. Tour Cancellations:

3.1. If a customer cancels their reservation, they may be entitled to a partial refund depending on the time of cancellation.

3.2. If you need to cancel your tour, please provide written notice to “Arctic Mike” as soon as possible at mike@arcticmike.com

3.3. Your cancelation must be confirmed by “Arctic Mike” via e-mail.

3.4. Cancellations made more than seven days before the tour date will receive an 80% refund of the tour price, minus a non-refundable 20% fee which reflects our cost of booking and preparing your tour.

3.5. Cancellations made less than seven days before the tour date, or failure to show up for the tour will not receive a refund.

3.6. In the situation that Arctic Mike is forced to cancel the tour due to unfavorable weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, you can reschedule for another available date or receive a full refund of the amount paid for the tour.

3.7. “Arctic Mike” reserves the right to cancel or modify any tour due to safety concerns or other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Liability:

4.1. “Arctic Mike” is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the tour.

4.2. “Arctic Mike” is not liable for any losses or expenses due to delays or changes of flights, injury, damage, negligence, weather, or other unforeseeable causes.

4.3. The estimated duration of tours are standard times and can vary according to the road or weather conditions. Delays may occur for unforeseen reasons.

4.4. ”Arctic Mike” cannot be made responsible for losses or expenses a passenger may face due to delay, regardless of whether the loss is direct or indirect.

5. Indemnification:

5.1. You agree to indemnify and hold “Arctic Mike” harmless from any claims, demands, or damages, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of your use of “Arctic Mike’s” tours or travel services.

5.2. “Arctic Mike” shall not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from the user’s use of the website or services. The user agrees to release the “Arctic Mike” from any claims or disputes related to such damages or losses.

5.3. “Arctic Mike” cannot be held liable for any unauthorized access to the customer payment information that may occur during the payment process.

5.4.The indemnification provisions shall survive the termination or expiration of these terms and conditions, and shall remain in effect until all claims, damages, expenses, or losses have been resolved.

8.1. The customer agrees to follow all safety instructions and regulations provided by Arctic Mike during the tour. Failure to do so may result in the customer being excluded from the tour without a refund.

8.2. “Arctic Mike” reserves the right to refuse service to any customer who is deemed to be a danger to themselves or others or who is otherwise deemed unfit to participate in the tour.

8.3. The customer acknowledges that the tour may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to risks associated with outdoor activities, transportation, and weather conditions. The customer voluntarily assumes all such risks and waives any claims against Arctic Mike for any loss, damage, injury, or expense that may arise from participation in the tour.

8.4. “Arctic Mike” reserves the right to refuse service to any person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who behaves in a disruptive or dangerous manner that may threaten the safety of other passengers, the guide, or the vehicle.

8.5. Passengers are responsible for their own belongings during the tour. “Arctic Mike” is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.

9. Changes and Amendments:

9.1. “Arctic Mike” reserves the right to change the guide or vehicle at any time for reasons of safety, maintenance, or other unforeseeable reasons.

9.2. “Arctic Mike” reserves the right to make changes or amendments to the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to the user.
