I have never been and probably will never go on a tour as good as the South Coast tour I went on with Mike.
Mike is knowledgeable, equipped, funny, and a great photographer. Mike thinks of everything! Cream on the most delicious hot chocolate, extra waterproof jackets and trousers for the group to wear, sunglasses, crampons, phone chargers, the list just goes on.
With Mike, you are in the safest hands, and he has the best recommendations. We went to a lovely place for lunch on the tour, and Mike gave us other recommendations for eating out on the rest of our trip. Mike also stopped off after the tour to show us the Northern Lights—nothing is too much, he is the loveliest guy!
We will be returning to Iceland and booking with Mike again, as will our friends and family when they travel to Iceland too.

I can’t recommend this experience enough to you. It was such a privilege to have toured the south of Iceland with Michal, who was incredibly engaging and insightful.
Michal’s warm personality had everyone feeling very relaxed and comfortable. The whole tour had a road trip vibe, and it felt like I was traveling with good friends. I loved learning about the history of the city, the customs of the natives, the tiny Viking houses, the farming industry, and the development of Iceland.
I loved, loved, loved the black sand beach and the stunning waterfalls. But there is one part that was the high point of my time in Iceland overall: the stop at Dyrhólavegur. Honestly, the views blew me away (the strong wind almost did, too), and I returned to the car feeling so energized and pumped.

Went on a road trip with Mike once in winter. Absolutely amazing experience. Mike was a great tour guide, he picked us up from where we stayed, then showed us all the beautiful spots down the south coast. Always made the trip the fullest for a day tour. Definitely gonna travel with him again next time back to Iceland!
