I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike. We did two trips with him, the Golden Circle and the South Coast. Mike ensured that both days were perfect.

There was never a feeling of being rushed. He is so knowledgeable about everything Icelandic, answered my nonstop questions, and made sure we got to see everything we wanted. Mike knew I wanted to see horses or sheep because I was talking about them nonstop, so he made sure I got to see both and even meet some horses.

He is a great photographer and knows literally every spot for the best photos. Mike times his tours perfectly so you avoid the big tour groups and buses as much as possible.

He is so kind, funny, and makes you feel comfortable and welcome right from the first minute. It was my boyfriend and me traveling, but I would have felt 100% safe and comfortable as a solo traveler or in a small group of female travelers as well.

If you get a chance to go to the tomato farm for lunch on a tour with Mike, please do! It was absolutely beautiful, both in terms of food and the space and science behind the infrastructure.

Thank you, Mike, for making this one of our most memorable vacations yet. I will be raving about and recommending Arctic Mike for the foreseeable future every time anyone even mentions Iceland!
