We are happy to leave another well-deserved 5-star review for Mike. We are a couple in our 60s, and Mike guided us on full-day tours of the Golden Circle and the South Coast. Communications was excellent from the start, and we were met at the cruise port seamlessly for our first tour and dropped of at our hotel each day. Mike is extremely knowledgeable about Iceland, including its history and geology. He has an easy style, and did everything he could to be sure we were comfortable and didn’t feel rushed at any of the sights–a major advantage of a private guide vs a group tour. He organized our tour so that we could see very popular sites when they were less likely to be overrun with large bus tours. I am not the steadiest on uneven terrain, but Mike made a special point to be there to lend a hand so that I could see a waterfall inside a cave! He also had excellent recommendations for other things to do on our own. We felt very taken care of and privileged to experience the magic of Iceland with Mike.
