Unforgettable Golden Circle & South Coast Adventure

I did the Golden Circle and South Coast tours with Mike, and they were genuinely the best two days of my trip. Pick-up was seamless, communication was great, and the truck was spacious and felt extremely safe. With a maximum of eight people on the tour, the group size was perfect. You really get to know everyone without ever feeling crowded.
Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and knows all the best photo spots, he’ll make sure you get the perfect Instagram shot while also keeping you safe. He provides crampons, waterproof gear, and guides you carefully under waterfalls and on slippery surfaces. He also chooses excellent lunch stops and is always checking in, offering breaks for coffee, snacks and bathrooms whenever needed.
We were even lucky enough to see the northern lights both nights, thanks to Mike going out of his way to find them and capture amazing photos for us.
Overall, an exceptional experience and outstanding value for money. You can’t come to Iceland without doing a tour with Mike. He truly turns an amazing country into an unforgettable adventure.

We did two private tours (Golden Circle and South Coast tours) with Mike and both times, he was amazing! He far exceeded our expectations, and I can confidently say that Mike is the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He took us to many non-touristy areas, making the whole experience more enjoyable and fun. These places were spectacular, and Mike took many great photos of us.
We stopped by restaurants that were booked by Mike, and the lunches were amazing. I had the best tomatoes in one of the restaurants he booked for us for lunch. Mike ensured that our travel was as pleasant and comfortable as possible. He is very knowledgeable about the buildings, history, and culture of Iceland. We’ve learned a lot about Iceland from him. He’s also very flexible with the itinerary, and we were able to make changes to accommodate our wants. For example, he took us to places where we could fly our drone and get amazing shots.
Mike is very friendly, generous, kind, and approachable. We would definitely recommend Mike to anyone who is going to Iceland. And one thing, he made a bloody delicious hot chocolate. It’s probably the top 2 or 3 hot chocolates we’ve ever had. Thank you, Mike, for guiding and hosting us. It was truly an amazing trip!
